Enhanced Integration Now Available Through EBSCO A-to-Z® Custom Tab Feature
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, U.S.A., May 3, 2006 - EBSCO A-to-Z® (A-to-Z) has been enhanced with a new feature allowing a library to display virtually any customized content or Web page directly to patrons from within the A-to-Z reader site. Libraries may use the Custom Tab feature to embed the library's federated search engine, information about a new resource (a live link to a new trial access database, for example), general details such as library hours, special event information, training classes and more. "This feature is unique to EBSCO, and we are proud to offer it as a means of enhanced integration of library resources from within A-to-Z," said Oliver Pesch, EBSCO's Chief Strategist of E-Resources. About EBSCO EBSCO Information Services provides libraries and research centers with electronic and print journal subscription services, e-resource access and management services, full-text and secondary database development and access, an OpenURL-compliant link resolver, e-books, Web-based book purchasing and related information services.
