EBSCO and Ex Libris Announce Successful Testing for EDI Claims

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, U.S.A., June 19, 2006 – EBSCO is pleased to announce successful completion of EDI serials claims testing for the Ex Libris ALEPH 500 ILS with John Jay College and Queens College, both part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system.

As a result, claims are automatically sent from ALEPH 500 ILS customers directly to EBSCO, which in turn expedites overall claim processing time.

“EDI serials claiming is a very efficient means of transmitting our claims to EBSCO, and we look forward to implementing it for the rest of the CUNY libraries now that John Jay, Queens and NY City Tech are using the service,” said Pat Young, assistant director, CUNY Office of Library Services.
