The Swedish State Purchases Foreign Periodicals Via EBSCO
Framework Agreement Signed with the Swedish Tax Authority STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov.7, 2006 - The State of Sweden has selected EBSCO as a provider of periodical and subscription services. This agreement is fixed for an initial period of two years with an option to extend for two additional years. Under the agreement, EBSCO will provide all Swedish universities, colleges and governmental authorities with a portfolio of services and solutions, including access to non-Swedish print and electronic journal subscription services. EBSCO will also offer online access to a wide array of Web-based information management solutions. "EBSCO's periodical and subscription services have been designed to efficiently eradicate most of the inherent burdens related to subscription management by providing consolidated ordering, invoicing and renewals.
