World History Collection ™ Now Available via EBSCOhost ®IPSWICH, Mass. — In keeping with the company’s ongoing effort to provide the most comprehensive full text coverage for a variety of important subject areas, EBSCO Publishing is pleased to announce the availability of the new World History Collection ™ database. This new database is available through the EBSCOhost ® interface and provides cover-to-cover full text coverage of more than 130 essential journals. Extensive backfiles for many of the included titles are also provided. World History Collection offers a global look at history with content from Africa , Asia , North and South America , Europe and the Middle East . World History Collection contains more than 130 full text titles, including many peer-reviewed journals. These hand-selected information sources cover a wide range of historical topics including anthropology, art, culture, economics, government, heritage, military, politics, regional issues, and more. In addition to the cover-to-cover full text, comprehensive indexing and abstracts are provided for all journals in the collection. The majority of full text titles are available in native (searchable) PDF, or scanned-in-color. Full text information in this database dates as far back as 1964. The World History Collection is updated weekly on EBSCOhost. In addition to all of the standard features available via EBSCOhost, the World History Collection provides end users with an enhanced search environment through the inclusion of Browsable Indices and Searchable Cited References.
